Course Overview
The student will learn effective techniques that prepare them for various life situations. Students will
develop an understanding of how personality and basic needs affect behavior. They will study the
complexity of family and culture as it relates to self. Students will discover how to make sound decisions related to being single, the world of work, marriage, parenting, human relations and crisis. They will also learn how to overcome feelings of inadequacy and replace them with feelings of self-worth, self-respect and self-confidence.
